Exhibition - Emotional States- London Design Biennale

Sustainable Fibre Alliance is representing Mongolia and Cashmere with an installation at the London Design Biennale at Somerset House, London. The installation responds to the theme ‘Emotional States’.

Toirog – Mongolian for circle invites you to explore the rich emotional story involved in the crafting of cashmere design pieces and the many lives touched along the way. From tough nomads who nurture cashmere goats to craftspeople who transform raw cashmere fibres into design pieces, the installation demonstrates the cyclical nature of the cashmere story. Visitors are encouraged to touch and feel precious raw cashmere to experience its sensory connection to many aspects of Mongolian life and beyond.
